The Your Health Wide Bay portal is an online community focusing on issues relating to regional health care services. Giving health professionals, health related organisations and local residents access to a wealth of resources, expertise and support.
The Wide Bay Medicare Local (WBML) was established in May 2012 as part of the Australian Government’s National Health Reform.
The WBML is already working hard to coordinate and improve the delivery of primary health care and tackling the Wide Bay’s health care needs and service gaps.
Primary health care includes frontline services provided by GPs, community nurses, dentists, pharmacists, dieticians, optometrists, physiotherapists and other community based health professionals.
